Let us take you by The Hand

the last word story let us take you by the hand
On one of Cape Town’s most spectacular stretches of coastline, where the ocean meets the sky in an ever-changing play of light, sits Last Word Long Beach—a five-star beach house with just six ocean-facing rooms.

Here, the soundtrack is waves and seabirds; the pace, wonderfully unhurried. Each room opens onto sweeping views of the Atlantic, with private patios or balconies that invite you to sit, sip, and watch the surf roll in. The décor is calm and coastal—soft tones, natural textures, and an easy elegance that complements the sea beyond.

Our small, friendly team is here to make every moment effortless, from lazy mornings with coffee on your terrace to three-course seafood dinners overlooking the bay. Take a walk along the six-kilometre beach, try your hand at surfing, or simply unwind in the sun with a book and a drink in hand. At Long Beach, every stay is personal, every detail considered, and every day defined by the beauty of the ocean.
